Bridal Emergency Kit
Every bride's best friend on her wedding day (except her mum of course!)

It is Murphy's Law that something will always go wrong at the worst possible time in the most important of situations.  Even your wedding day is not exempt from this, so as the boy scouts have always told us, "Be Prepared!"

It is vital that every bride prepare herself a Bridal Emergency Kit, just in case. You never know when your stockings will ladder, when a sudden thumping headache will set in or when your bridal shoes will rub your feet raw!

Below is a checklist of the essential items for your emergency kit, to ensure peace of mind and the minimum of stress on your big day!

What You'll Need:

* A small sewing Kit consisting of pins, buttons, thread the colour of your gown, mini scissors, safety pins (for everything and anything), sewing tape (for emergency hemming), two extra pairs of your Wedding stockings, dressmakers chalk (for emergency coverups), superglue (when all else fails!)

* Headache pills, bandaids, tampons, eyedrops, lip-chap, any prescription medication you may take

* A mini beauty kit consisting of face powder, lipstick, mascara, hair pins, purse size hairspray, comb, clear nail polish (for ladders in stockings), purse size fragrance

* A mobile phone and a complete list of phone contacts of everyone involved in the big day

* A detailed map of directions to the church, just in case your driver gets lost (and it DOES happen, believe us!)

* A bottle or two of the finest bubbly, to crack open when all emergencies are taken care of (or if it all gets TOO out of hand!)
